It's easy to say when you got hindsight bias to back you up. But the reality is that none of us have any idea how any young players are going to end up. Oladipo was starting to get written off before he went to Indiana for example. Ya never know.

Kuzma will be 24 in 5 months.

He SUPPOSED to look more developed. He's a grown ass man.

I see nothing but a good scorer.

It's nice to have, but I don't see anything that makes him better than a Rudy Gay/ peak Corey Magette level player.

You know, I'm not particularly high on Kuzma but people bring up his age too much. Butler was averaging a horrible inefficient 13 ppg in 38 mins at 24. Age with little NBA experience means nothing. Simmons is 23 soon but his game has more room for growth than any 19 year old

Kuz is not better than BI and Zo. BI and Zo can do literally everything on the court and being able to defend really well is a huge plus. Just cause Kuz will have a big scoring night every now and again doesn't mean hes our best player especially since if hes not scoring he can become literally useless on the court. I love Kuz but yall can really overrate him.

Hes saying that nba front offices will overlook upperclassmen (higher "production" players in college) for more young, raw freshmen. But then they dont have the patience to wait for the younger, rawer (?) players develop

Not really. Teams who are building have lots of patience. Teams who want to "win now" flip those assets.

Lakers have LeBron for a very limited time (and he's going to get worse over those 4 years). Patience would be counter intuitive.

The problem is people swear that players will make jumps every year. But it never turns out that way. Out of Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram, Tatum, and Jaylen Brown I wouldnt be shocked if none of them made the jump to top 10/15 player
